Ocenenie Red DOT za dizajn sa ude\u013euje u\u017e pomaly 70 rokov. V roku 1955 vznikla prv\u00e1 v\u00fdro\u010dn\u00e1 s\u00fa\u0165a\u017e dizajnu a 5. okt\u00f3bra sa v Essen\u2019s Villa H\u00fcgel otvorila v\u00fdstava „St\u00e4ndige Schau formsch\u00f6ner Industrieerzeugnisse“ („st\u00e1la v\u00fdstava atrakt\u00edvne navrhnut\u00fdch priemyseln\u00fdch v\u00fdrobkov“).
